Equipment Groups

You equipment can be organised by type, or by groups which you have defined. Groups can contain whichever equipment items you like. For example, a group could comprise a kit that contains 4 items always used together, or contain 4 items you would want to use to carry out a specific task, such as a meter, a field calibrator, a laptop and a camera.


Items of Equipment can then be organized in the calendar and on booking window by group.




Equipment Groups are created, modified and deleted from the Groups pane in the Admin Area.




The Add button is used to create a new Equipment Group. Clicking the Add button will open the Equipment Group Window ready for you to enter the details of the equipment group you want to create.



The Edit button is used to edit an existing Equipment Group. Clicking the Edit button will open the Equipment Group Window showing the details of the selected equipment group ready for you to edit. You can also double-click on an Equipment Group in the list to do the same thing.


Move Up/ Move Down

By selecting an Equipment Group in the list and using the Move Up / Move Down buttons, you can change the order the Groups appear on the Calendar, and in the Equipment Selection Accordions located in the Booking Window, among others.


Tip - You can click on the headings in the panes to organize the list by the clicked heading. For example, clicking the 'Name' heading will arrange the items alphabetically by name. This has no effect on the presentation order in the Calendar and Equipment Selection Accordions.
